Leather care
Your leather goods can keep for a life time if your treat them right.
Here are some notes for you, if you need it.

We lather our clogs and bags about 2 to 3 times per year.
One time before we start using them for the season and then in the end of the season. If we notice that the leather is getting dry we treat them again.

If you are an "all around the year clogger" go ahead and treat them more.
The main idea is that if you notice the leather getting dry its time for a lathering. Depending on the climate you live in you might want to treat your leather more often.

We use leather fat for our clogs as the leather is a bit thicker and rougher than bags. We use leather balm on our bags.

To lather leather goods up with leather fat you can use a nylon sock and use a spunge or a cloth for leather balm as leather balm is more liquidy and needs to bee soaked up so it dosent drip.

Remeber to not use your leather product straight after you treat them as they can leave stains on other clothes or materials straight after.

Patina
Patina is the change of color that fore most happens to uncolored vagetable tanned leather after time.
As soon as your clogs or leather goods are used and meets daylight they will change and get darker to more of a cognac color.
If you want the process to be as fast as possible it will hellp to lather them with leather fat and put them in a window but the best is of course to just use your clogs
